Founded in 1963, Automobili Lamborghini is headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, in Northeastern Italy. There it manufactures some of the world’s most sought-after super sports cars. Automobili Lamborghini is building on a succession of dynamic and elegant super sports cars including the 350GT, Miura, Espada, Countach, Diablo, Murciélago, Reventón Coupe, Reventón Roadster, Aventador and Gallardo.

In 1982, the concept of carbon fibre chassis for the Countach prototype marked the beginning of the Automobili Lamborghini Composites. Advanced Composite Research Center (ACRC) www.lamborghini-acrc.com undertakes research on innovative design and processes for carbon-fibre elements. Lamborghini is the only can manufacturer that executes all phases in-house, from simulation to production.

ACRC is split in two maim areas. The PrePreg Centre (PPC) where all the parts and tooling related with prepreg technology are produced, and the Out of Clave Center (OOCC) where we develop all technologies out of the autoclave, for instance Press Moulding, Resin Transfer moulding and Forged Composite®.
